Students are strongly encouraged to attend local, state and national industry meetings to begin networking for their future. Additionally, marketing students may join general business organizations like Delta Sigma Pi.
Pi Sigma Epsilon Gamma Chi Chapter
Pi Sigma Epsilon is the professional fraternity in marketing, sales management and selling. It is open to all majors and offers a vital link between classroom education and professional career. Its purpose is to give college students an opportunity to learn about the business world through projects and work experiences available with the fraternity.
Mu Kappa Tau National Marketing Honor Society
Membership in Mu Kappa Tau draws together dynamic students, educators, and professionals who share high aspirations and a mutual interest and dedication to Marketing. Mu Kappa Tau membership is limited to students, majoring in Marketing, who have an overall cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.00 scale. Membership is extended only to juniors ranking in the upper 10 percent of their class and seniors ranking in the upper 20 percent of their class.
Ragin' Hospitality Association
Ragin' Hospitality Association is an organization for students interested in the Hospitality industry. It is designed to promote the Food, Lodging and Tourism industries as a viable career for students. The organization welcomes all majors across campus. The goals of the organization are philanthropy, awareness and guidance. The organization meets monthly and volunteers regularly in the community and on campus for not-for-profit events.
